She later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Smith College in the USA.

Olagundoye is widely recognized for her roles in popular TV series such as "The Neighbors," where she played Jackie Joyner-Kersee, "Castle," portraying Hayley Shipton, and "Frasier," where she took on the role of Olivia Finch.
